Valentine’s Week

They invented hugs to let people know you love them without saying anything

-Bil Keane

I am in my mid-twenties and I openly say that I love this week whether single or committed the good thing is this week reminds us of treating each other special and feeling the love. Generally, people say its kiddish and stupid, indeed it is but the sweetness about this week is its childishness. As all the days have something beautiful coming up, the whole week is exactly how our relationship starts with rose to emote love, followed by a proposal of love, making an encounter with the sweetness of chocolates, taking it ahead with the teddy and embracing each other in the arms of love, finally making a promise to be with each other, expressing all the emotions in the beautiful way with hug, kiss, rose, teddy, a proposal and a promise.

I believe no matter how much we say we don’t believe in this week and how stupid it is, but we all like to be loved, appreciated and treated special. That’s why I love this week’s significance. How I wish we could treat our loved one’s special the whole year then we definitely didn’t need this week.

The valentine’s week makes single people feel out of the place but actually all the single people can treat themselves special by giving a gift of trying new things every single day of the week and making it symbolic of the change, happiness and strength.

I believe love is only shared with our partners not that they are the source of love. So how about making this valentine’s week special for yourself by doing what you have been postponing, trying a new adventure, going for a relaxing week and just being in the moment as hardly we do that.

Let’s make it a special treatment week for oneself 🙂

Things single people can do:

  1. Go for a Spa or Massage
  2. Take a Gym membership/ join MMA
  3. Try a new restraunt
  4. Stay for a day in a resort.
  5. Paraglyding, Parajumping, rock climbing, rappling, etc.
  6. Bake and cook something new
  7. Spend time with your family and old friends as we hardly have time for them.
  8. Some concert or exploring a new city.

All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.
